This is a painting I have been thinking about for years. It was a birthday present for my 4 year old nephew Daniel.

Century Farm Winery

Went to a little winery out in the country yesterday. They have some of the sweetest wine I have ever tasted. The best part was the scenery! Here are some of the pictures to inspire...

Kingfish RIP

My sweet husband James Mark "Kingfish" Conklin passed away on May 29th 2012. He was one of the most supportive people I knew. He always encouraged constant creativity. He was an amazing artist and musician, and a fantastic husband. I miss him desperately.

New member of the family

Bonnie Blue: this adorable bundle of joy was discarded in the middle of nowhere Mississippi where a good Samaritan picked her up along with her brothers and sisters and mother. It was love at first sight and we had talked about getting a dog many times but the circumstances were never right. When we found out that she was free and was the kind of breed that didn't shed we just couldn't pass her up. How can you say no to that cute little face??? She was listed as a Beagle but we think that she is a Mountain Feist. She is now 4 months old.
